The food was very nice. Although Christmas was a special occasion, I managed to avoid serving classic and well-known local Germanic dishes (sausages, schnitzel, etc.). Whenever we reconciled with other delicious food anyway. The staff would not call it particularly polite but as the classic German mentality is.

Load class. We felt very comfortable 2 evenings. Had a lot of fun with the host. Very happy again and again plenty of Jägermeister please 🥰🥰

A place with a long tradition where it is a peculiar get-in ;-), good meals and a host with nice ironic humor. Whoever does not suffer irony, there is no need to press. :-)

Who does not have a sense of humor can not understand the master! Foods are good!

Leg of lamb was just delicious.

We didn't want to eat a typical "Berlin Currywurst with French Fries" at a stand-up snack bar, but rather enjoy it in a cozy atmosphere. Our expectations were exceeded! We got a plate with two delicious sausages in homemade sauce and crispy fries. The service was very nice and attentive and the inn has a very quaint Berlin flair. Conclusion: We will definitely come again :-)

Very bad food. The meat was no longer good. The fried potatoes were swimming in the fat. Operation rude. Long wait for extremely bad food.

That you have to give a star at all, strikes me. I can only smile at the alleged Berlin kind of previous speakers .... I tend more to the fact that after each negative review a positive from friends and acquaintances of the host comes. Absolutely outrageous treatment, the food overpriced and the quality I do not want to speak. We come to Berlin for over 8 years, but in other restaurants have gotten to know Berlin's absolute friendliness far better. In these establishments you feel like a guest, but not guaranteed at Radke. Rather, make a huge circle around the shop and walk a few meters further along the Ku'damm. Never again ... ☝️☝️

Bad service, expensive and not tasty at all. Meat is dry and smelling weird. Best part of the meal was drinking cola

Very nice restaurant, really Berlin. The host a Urberliner. If you do not know something like this (see other reviews), you might be shaken :-) The menu is perfect. You do not know what to take. Everything like grandma's time. The quality first class. So what of yummy! I will come back. Very soon.

A unique place with the world's least delicate owner. If he doesn't like your behavior, you can forget about serving. For us who get served. Great food and nice atmosphere.

Between all the pizzerias and Italian restaurants you can still find a typical, tasty German restaurant.

One of the last Urberliner places with typical Berlin kitchen and host, rough but warm. We had a nice evening with good food. Nice cozy atmosphere. We'll be back, despite the high beer prices 🍺🍺

After reading the other reviews I am sad that so many other people had a bad experience here. I and my two daughters were warmly greeted and invited inside in the summer of 2018. We ordered our food and had a good time speaking with our host, perhaps the owner. Our meals were delicious, the decor was interesting and our host was amusing. I would gladly go back again anytime.

We ordered some typical sausages. They serve two sausages with chips (malas) and a very spicy tomato sauce from a pot. Not recommendable

If you want to eat well in Berlin, this is a good place to go. The service has been very attentive and very friendly; the restaurant is beautiful; the food of good quality and nothing expensive. A successful choice!

I had a very bad experience at the place as a tourist. I will never recommend it to anybody. The service is very bad and the prices are very high

Classic tourist trap! The totally grubby menu that is out there does not match the inside - completely different and much higher prices. The most expensive beer in Berlin and the food all taste like warm leftovers from the day before. The man behind the counter (boss?) Is compulsory to outrageous, the staff up to the stop rude - but in this situation near Gedächtniskirche you can probably afford anything. Any stupid tourists will probably fill the store and shut up.

Great atmosphere. Do not overcharge menu, that is very positive. Kitchen itself gets a 2 plus from me. Great service and the guest feels welcome.

This is a very touristy bar, and prices are quite high. However, some of the reviews below are unfair. There are toilets (!) And the service and hospitality we got was great! The food is traditional fair and the overall ambience drifts nicely between kitsch and homely. We had an excellent meal, great beer and a great welcome (yes, you do need to have a quick look at that menu in the bar before sitting down, but so what). It would appear the monstrous waitress from previous reviews was also absent.

I always like to come from Rostock. The boss is one of the last Berlin originals, but many do not know that.

As others said: impudent boss! I wanted to look around and pick a table for 10 people for a reservation. The waitress said, go back and pick a table. The boss said: You can not go through here. In an outrageous arrogant tone. I told him: I renounce your hospitality and look for another restaurant. - - What is striking is that in this restaurant there are hardly any guests, I often come over and look in - coincidence?

A small typical German restaurant. The food is good, the beer is good, and it has a relaxed atmosphere.

The manager here is a rude and I suspect racist pig , wont let you sit in the dining area until you've read the grease covered menu standing in the bar , even though the place was almost empty .avoid this place at all costs , unless you want shockingly arrogant service

Classic german pubfood and beer

German restaurant in Old-Berlin Style. You will find a lot of city-memorabilia of the last century. The rustic dishes are freshly cooked in the way grandma did. A variety of different local draft beer. Enjoy the gastronome's charme and winking humor - remember that in Berlin some words may sound more harsh than they are actually meant.

Way too expensive, 'service' is a word they don't really know - I was charged €3 for my wife trying small piece of my meal (the charge was not included in cheque and they refused to include it in cheque but took the money, I think waitress just steals the money), waitress was arrogant and rude. Children toys look really weird in interior. Not worth visiting, there are places with friendly service in Berlin.

Apparently it's a bar/restaurant with NO TOILET. Really? Really?! As paying customers I guess we pee in our empty glasses? Waitress was possibly one of the rudest people I've met in Berlin. She got annoyed because I had the audacity to walk towards her and ask where the toilets were. I know. I'm a monster.

Terrifying experience. The rudest service in berlin. Don't walk to you own table or else you take your life in your own hands. Too scared to order food, almost impossible to get attention or service event thought was empty. The sign about service is accurate.

The food is OK, but the personnel is really ignorant and hostile.

The food here is incredible! I had the pork knuckle and it was so tender and was just falling off the bone. And the sour kraut was so good I wanted to lick the bowl.
